Maggie Mae and Lilly Mae hanging out together in their new big pillow... they snuggle and wrestle and cuddle together... they are inseparable and quite a pair. Surprisingly, working out perfectly which was what we hoped for... she's a cutie!!!! Oh, and her ears are still up. Looks like Maggie is a mommy's girl and Lilly is a daddy's girl in the looks department which is too cute. All Maggie's baby stuff is working out nicely.... glad I kept it all... she's a little peanut and might need it for life!

Hi Cindy!!
I'm SO sorry it's been so long since I was in touch with you. I adopted Amy in November, and she is doing WONDERFUL! Eric and I just LOVE her, and she fits right in to our life so perfectly. She went through a puppy class, and graduated fine, and really does well listening and being sweet to people and other doggies. I attached a picture of me & her on 'graduation day.' I've also attached a picture of her taken this month. (so she is about 8 months old?) She's a playful, loving, and happy little dog! Everyone we know LOVES her :)
Let me know how things are going there at ShorkieWorld! And THANK YOU so much for the wonderful blessing you were to bring Amy into our life here in Arizona!
Have a nice weekend!

Update on Maggie

Here is Maggie Mae in her pink doggie stroller. We have been able to keep her hair long so far being the groomer used thinning sheers on her to make it easier to care for her coat... so far, so good... she has such beautiful coloring, we don't want to cut her hair... love the black tips. We laugh everytime we visit your website and see that she's still there. My kids... one is already away in college and the other two are in middle school... Maggie Mae was actually the younger ones birthday gift last year... they are twins and they adore her. How much does Tiny Maggie weigh as of today?
Rosemary from NJ
PS: WSJ got my email, but I gave her the phone number and spoke to her yesterday.

Hi Cindy,
I got a call from the Wall Street Journal reporter and it seems I'm going to be in the article she publishes in the next few weeks... she mentioned you gave her my name. I had lots of good things to say about our Maggie Mae. By the way, I see Tiny Maggie is still available... when was she born... you didn't post her bday? When we got our Maggie on February 19th she was 1.9 and was born November 16... so approx 12 weeks old at the time.... just trying to compare Tiny Maggie to see what her weight might be... my kids are still bugging me.

Hi Cindy.... remember me... Maggie from NJ's mom Rosemary. Just out of curiosity for now, how old is your current Tiny Maggie and how big do you expect her to be? She's a cutie. My kids saw her on the website tonight.... we are just inquiring for now.... our Maggie Mae is doing great... we love her to death and she's absolutely beautiful.... picture doesn't do her justice. This was her first halloween with us. She's our little princess and rules the house. I don't know if she'd like a girlfriend or not... she still has our old yorkie who she loves to pal around with for now but he's not doing too well and down the line, since he's already 14, we don't want her to be alone either so we are just curious.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Candice and I am interested in adopting a fur baby from Cindy of Shorkieworld. My purpose for contacting everyone is to find out about your adoption through shorkieworld. Was your experience with Cindy a positive one and would you recommend me adopting a puppy from shorkieworld? This is my first time adopting a puppy, let alone adopting a puppy over the internet, therefore I believe I would be more at ease after hearing from others who have already gone through with an adoption from shorkieworld. I just have a few questions that I hope you could help me with:

Because I live outside of the Missouri area I would need for my puppy to be shipped--Did any of you have your puppies shipped and if so was it a good experience? Did you recieve the exact puppy that you asked for? Was/Is your puppy/dog healthy? Did anyone get the opportunity to visit Cindy's home and see the environment that the puppies are raised in and if so could you describe the living conditons? Have any of you had to use your warranty and if so was the warranty honored?

If there is anything else that you think would be helpful for me to know please don't hesitate to write and tell me. I THANK YOU in advance for your time and I will eagerly be waiting your responses!!!

I love our pooch! We have had Atlas for a year and a half. I did not have him shipped because he was too small and my son Jack did not want to wait any longer- so we drove 14 1/2 hours to get him Labor Day weekend. We live in the western suburbs of Chicago.
I have never had a dog in the house, did not even grow up with a dog in the house- and I keep a very clean house. One of the things that attracted me to this breed was the non-shedding part. They are not only adorable, but if you keep them trimmed, they really do not shed. I shed more than the dog! Atlas had his one year appointment and weighed in at 6.8 pounds. He is the most loved, spoiled bratty dog around.
Cindy is an excellent breeder. I have seen some of the tacky things people have posted about her online- and it truly comes from jealousy. Is she more expensive? Yes, but you do get what you get- I have seen some other Shorkies and they are not near as cute, and do not have the same structure as Cindy's dogs.
I also will tell you that she does not live in a puppy mill. They are not wealthy people. They have moved since I saw the house they are in, but they are dedicated to the dogs- that is all. You will not find 5 litters there at the same time. Cindy also is honest and knowledgeable. She predicts what the vet will say- and she is right. This is a factor in why she is so successful- and why she has return customers.
I would recommend her as a person to trust and buy the pup from.

Just checking in. Atlas went to his 1-year check-up today and the vet was praising his behavior. He is all of 6.2 lbs. He did not whimper once or have a temper when they gave him his shots. The vet complimented his coat, teeth and ears- everything was good. I will send pictures soon. I hope you are well and you are looking forward to the holidays in your new home.
